How much is a Dior bag worth on resale?

From the Lady Dior to the 30 Montaigne, the house's structured lines keep solid second-hand demand. Here's what drives their value and the buyback ranges we observe model by model.

Updated 17 June 2026

Dior doesn't have Hermès's organised scarcity, but its icons — the Lady Dior above all — enjoy worldwide recognition and regular boutique price increases that pull up the second-hand value. Value depends mostly on the model, the leather and the condition.

The criteria that set the price

  • The model. Lady Dior and 30 Montaigne are the most liquid; the Saddle, reissued by Maria Grazia Chiuri, stays in high demand.
  • Leather and cannage. Lambskin cannage (the signature quilting) and smooth calfskin hold value better than canvas; Lady D-Lite editions pull the price up.
  • Colour and edition. Neutrals (black, beige) are the safest; limited editions and collaborations climb.
  • Condition. Corners, cannage, the "D.I.O.R." charms and hardware are examined; light patina weighs on the range, not on acceptance.
  • Completeness. Receipt, dustbag and original strap add value.
